The Coober Pedy Area School was desperately in need of some sun protection for their outdoor play area. To cover such a large span in 'one giant leap', a Custom Barrel-Vault Shade Structure was chosen as the final the design. Shadeform were in charge of supplying and installing the commercial shade-cloth cover. Along with a commercial partner, Greenline, the metal framework and concrete footings were also installed.

The final result is a well protected outside area for the school, which now doubles as an assembly area. By providing valuable shade protection, this structure also allows students to play outside in the sun, keeping them fit and healthy, in one of the hottest places on earth!
